if you didn’t notice, the post date is way over a month old already.
Yeah, so apparently, the US release of the Haruhi DVDs will get super jam-packed with a lot of free extras. Unfortunately, those extras are not really free.
I mean, good God, a double-sided shitajiki, a Haruhi ribbon, a Haruhi-ism iron on sheet and the Hare Hare Yukai CD single all in a DVD box which also holds 6 CDs. Oh, and the DVD itself too.
This, followed by every DVD release having at least a pillow case, another shitajiki and another CD single.
All this for a total cost of a little less than two hundred and fifty US Dollars. What a steal, でしょ？
Oh wait, even a summer job of five weeks at minimum wage won’t cover that expense. orz

Looks like Bandai Entertainment took those polls way too seriously.
I’ve already been suckered into pre-ordering it. ^_^ No regrets there, though – I’d happily throw away half of my life savings for the chance to see Nagato as she was meant to be seen (i.e. on a proper big-screen TV).
