I agree with you, this VN messed up my morals so badly.. I can relate to you with the anit-socialness and about having one person being th ecenter of your life.
But you gotta admit that would be scary if everyone had to come down to this..
Although even though the bad ending was so sad, I couldnt help but feel that this is the right way to go.. because their love really cant exist, taking the bullet for the team? its a noble way to end things with.. well, your love.

I honestly loved your review for Saya no Uta. I managed to snag the game a few weeks ago because Jast USA announced its english debut in a magazine. So curiously I got it without knowing what I was getting into. Holy crap it was an insane ride from beginning to end.

I agree that the flower end is most likely the true ending, but another one that can’t be dismissed is the romeo and juliet ending in which both die together. Both are unique and each make my heart weak (aside from how freaky and insane both are).

Finished it, nearly cried at the first end, full-blown manly tears at the second “Saya Blooms” end and towards the third end as well. It was such a heart-rending tale. It makes me wonder, if perhaps, that we are all seeing each other as normal beings, is in fact merely our own perceptions. Our five senses tells us that but maybe, just maybe, we are all terrifying slime balls.

Anyway, I love Saya, I still think she’s beautiful after finding out the Truth. Everything, especially when she was moving towards the dead Fuminori at the third end, had me tearjerking. She has a beautiful soul!
